About El Concilio California Academies

EXCUSED ABSENCES: 

• Personal injury/illness; a doctor’s note is required if over 5 days
• Medical/dental appointments
• Court appearances/Jury Duty
• Bereavement of immediate family (1 day)
• School-sponsored activity

UNEXCUSED ABSENCES:

• Car Trouble
• Family Emergencies
• Oversleeping
• Truancy/Cuts

All other reasons are considered unexcused.  Students with excused/cleared absences are entitled to make up all work. You must bring a note or have a parent call to excuse an absence.
